Bradley Consulting Group is an Information Technology consulting firm specializing in project management and systems integration.

Located in suburban Chicago, Bradley has delivered solutions for state and county agencies, pension funds, non-profit organizations, and small businesses across the state of Illinois since 1997.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Technology will continue to evolve, but the core practices of a successful project implementation remain remarkably constant. Business people who understand the business and where it needs to be. Technical teams who understand the business as well as the technology. Communication. Thorough testing.

Building and deploying successful applications over time, we know the effectiveness of small, empowered project teams matched with appropriate oversight and control. We believe in quick delivery and building a series of successes to meet business challenges, rather than betting a project on a single "big bang" implementation.

Much of our philosophy is embodied in Agile methodologies, which we happily support, as well as more traditional project management and system development lifecycles when they are a better fit.

SYSTEMS INTEGRATION

As platforms have changed to cloud computing from client/server installations and in-house mainframes, our teams have integrated new solutions to work side-by-side with legacy systems as well as implementing all-new platforms and managing the transition to them.

Before founding Bradley, key personnel were implementing systems as employees of large technology-consulting firms in multiple industries.  We brought that large system integrator experience with us to Bradley, where we have continued to apply lessons learned with new experience and technologies.

Our solutions have covered a wide range of technology, including Linux open source platforms, Microsoft Windows/.Net and proprietary IBM legacy mainframe systems. Web-based and client-driven. Relational databases big and small: SQLServer and MySQL/Maria DB and DB2. Ruby on Rails, C#, VB.Net and, yes, even some COBOL.

As a result, we understand a broad scope of computing platforms and the issues in maintaining and transforming those environments and the businesses using them.
